Phishing Attempt?

I just accidentally typo'd a website, and got some popup screen which locked Chrome down (couldn't even X out to close Chrome. I kind of panicked and used task manager to kill the process asap, but it said my facebook, website passwords were at risk etc, and to call some 1-855 number for support, and it knew I was a comcast customer. I meant to go to www.whatsayyoupodcast.com, but went to whatsayyoupod.com, and this happened. Is there any way to check that this is indeed a phish? I hadn't got around to installing Avast (nor installing my dual boot install of Ubuntu) on this new pc I got Saturday.
