Currently a residential customer. Wife teaches online and does a lot of video conferences which is one area where we are seeking improvement in performance. The other is that we both do online gaming and would like a performance increase there as well.
It seems that when we are both playing together we experience latency issues and I can't help but wonder if it is due to same game, NAT issues. So I am wondering if getting a block of static ip addresses would help. I would just need three. One for my xbox, one for her xbox and one for the router/wifi AP.
From trying to troubleshoot her video issues, we were told that the protocol that video conferencing uses would be handled better on business class vs residential. UDP I believe.
Currently have 50/10.service and use a sb6121 and a net gear R7000 router.
So again good video conferencing performance and as fast as possible dual xbox one gaming are the goals.
Any advice on equipment to ask for or a better idea is welcome!
