I current have a Comcast provided UBee (DOCSIS 3.0) and my own SB6141. I had the SB6141 installed for a few months and the performance of the modem went from working to working sometimes. A peek at the status page showed lots of T3/T4 errors causing reboots. Seem to occur at random intervals. I finally reinstalled the UBee modem and the connection is stable again.
The current readings from the UBee:
Downstream:
Power Level (dBmV) 3.49 3.48 3.62 4.15
RxMER (dB) 35.25 34.21 35.42 35.60
Upstream
Power Level (dBmV) 51.00 N/A 51.00 50.00
I did find a loose connector and I will replace that this weekend and retry the SB6141.
What I'm looking for is info to figure out what is going on. Bad modem (maybe but at times the SB6140 works perfect, other times it looses it's mind). I'll recheck all the connections. Any suggestions ?
