[Caps] Customer for 14 years, no cap issues until new modem/router

Last month, around Jan. 21, we got the new modem/router combo; the Xfinity-branded Arris TG862G. We upgraded from a different modem (non-router) that we had for quite a while. Shortly before that, though, we upgraded our service to the "EXTREME 105" package (the whole reason we got the new equipment,) which is fantastic, relatively speaking. However, it's not all glitter and gold anymore. Never have we had any issues with data caps or notifications about them until we got the new equipment. We are using our internet like we have for as long as I can remember. There have been no real changes in our usage. Netflix, general web browsing, youtube, rarely any p2p, steam/origin game downloads... It's been like this for, at least, the past 5-6 years. I logged into the account today to check our 300GB data usage and.... we're already at almost 30% for this month!! With 1 used overage month for last month. Are you kidding me? Our bill has been ~$165.84 /mo. for, well... ever. It seems that may be changing for some god d****d reason. Again, this only started once we got our new equipment. Or once we upgraded our service plan. Or both. I don't even know what's going on anymore. Ninja edit: I will say that we were recently given an actual account (which, to my knowledge, we never had) to log into some months back, but still, something is going on here.
