[Caps] Courtesy Overage Months Reset in January?

Because I was curious I decided to call Comcast to clarify their policy on the courtesy overages. I've seen a few different policies laid out and I wanted to be 100% clear before I ended up getting a $1000 bill in the mail. [rant] Figured since there is a specific number to call for this line of questions that this would be a simple 30 second phone call, but it's Comcast, so of course it wasn't. Even though the question in no way is specific to my account the first rep wouldn't budge without it. whatever, I guess if it's your policy to not answer any questions without everything then ok. Give him my account number and all the associated pertinents, says he can't answer the question and transfers me to another department where I have to give my info again, and I promptly get hung up on. ...ok then, now I'm annoyed, 15 minutes to get exactly nowhere... [/rant] Call back in, ask for a supervisor, get someone that sounds like he's totally out of fucks to give about his job, and finally get the answer I'm looking for. The courtesy months reset in January as long as you did not have any billable overages in previous calender year. So if you had three or less months over the 300GB cap in the previous calendar year you will get three more in the new year. If you had four or more in the previous year, you get none. Now the real question, is this actually the policy, or just something he said to get me to get off the phone? What are the odds I get the same answer if I call again?
