Short summary that I feel has nothing to do with my current issue: Week ago I cancelled my Comcast TV service and kept HSI. Everything was turned in correctly at the office, I called into the loyalty department and got a 1 year deal for Blast.
Starting yesterday, I have been trouble downloading/streaming/view websites/and overall staying connected online even to the Comcast chat I was having last night. Attached are screenshots of what is going on.
I am getting major T3 timeouts. Earlier this morning I was getting DHCP issues as well. When I turned in my cable boxes, I removed the splitter that connected the modem and cable box in my office and had the modem running directly into the wall outlet. My signal levels have always been at 4db on the downstream power level and high 30's on the upstream side. Checking yesterday I was 9/10db on the downstream and low 30's upstream. I put the splitter back on and things got somewhat better. 5/6 on the downstream and upper 30's again for upstream. However, today it's just as bad as before.
My house is all new coax. RG6 everywhere. New outlets. Comcast ran brand new wire to my house from the pole in November 2013. From the screenshots and what I have been able to read online, this is looking more like an area issue where a line tech would need to inspect what's going on. Maybe a chewed or damaged wire or bad amp.
Anyone have any suggestions?
