Hello there,
Recently I've been having very inconsistent upload speed with my Comcast blast service. I pay for 50 down/10 up, and for a long while I've been getting 57/12. Recently however, I've been getting 57/1.5 for most of the day, bouncing back up to 10 from time to time.
Comcast sent a tech over and they installed a Coaxial splitter (though I don't have a cable box). The speeds seemed to drop a little bit. The tech's reasoning was that my signal was too high and this would help resolve my issue.
I use a Motorola SB6121; here are the signal specs with the coaxial splitter -

I was hoping I could get some guidance regarding the normal levels here. Does this seem right?
I would also like to know if a coaxial splitter will actually help upload speeds? This doesn't seem to make much sense to me.
Thank you so much for the help!
