[DNS] Comcast change causing dnsmasq to crash on router?

I run Toastman TomatoUSB on my Linksys E3000 router and have done so for years. I haven't made any changes to my router in ages, the last being enabling IPV6 sometime last year, but yesterday when I checked the logs on the router, I was seeing that dnsmasq was being killed every 30 minutes (when my Internet was up). I had checked the logs on Monday of the same week and definitely wasn't seeing that at the time. I tried updating to the latest version of Tomato, but this issue continued, but oddly the 30 minutes do not correspond to when the router is started. For example my modem restarted after the update at 10:05 AM. dnsmasq was SIGTERMed and restarted at 10:22 AM, then again at 10:52 AM, etc. I looked up the problem and saw other people reporting it. All using Comcast and iPV6. I know Comcast made a number of configuration changes in my area, including changes to the DHCP server last Wednesday since the DHCP server went down for several hours and my IP address and gateway changed. Is it possible Comcast is now sending some kind of message which is causing dnsmasq to die? For more details see http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php?threads/dnsmasq-periodically-restarting.69887/
