In Comcast's recent press release about the upcoming 2Gbps rollout, they mentioned:
The company also will increase its Performance tier from 50 Mbps to 75 Mbps and its Blast tier from 105 Mbps to 150 Mbps, both at no additional cost to customers. These changes will go into effect starting in May and continue throughout the year.
The way they phrased this ("starting in May and continue throughout the year") seems intentionally confusing and kind of implies that some areas won't see these speed upgrades until the very end of the year. Does anyone have any indication of specifically when we can expect to see these upgrades? I imagine I'll need to reboot my modem once it's rolled out, but "reboot your modem sometime between May and December" is a bit vague :)
