I have a coax cable coming into my business (on first floor of residential apartments) and the cable goes to a splitter that splits one cable to our comcast phone router and one to our modem (Arris Surfboard 400). The splitter is grounded to the pipe below our fuse box.
I want to move all of our equipment out of our back closet and into our office, so I want to run cable through the drop ceiling. Can I run the coax cable through the ceiling and if I do, do I need to ground it, or should I just run phone and ethernet cable through the ceiling and don't mess with the coax?
Thanks for your input.
