[Equip] Lost Upstream Channel - Is this a Problem?

I have been having issues over the past few days that seem to involve line noise. My last service call had the tech disconnect the splitter by my modem. I was using a TV in the same room as my modem so I had a splitter. Now the signal to the modem is split 3 ways on the outside of my house. One output to a TV, second output to a TV, and third output to my cable modem. I had noticed earlier that my usual three upstream channels had dropped to two, but went back to three. After the last service call my upstream signal levels dropped on two of my three channels by about 3 dB. Upstream channel 1 dropped by 1 dB from 51 to 50, but it is now back to 51. Channel three dropped from 50 dB to 47 dB and has stayed there. Channel four dropped from 51dB to 48.125 dB, but channel four is now gone. Should I be concerned about this behavior? I was told by one technician to get rid of my current SMCD3GNV gateway and install the Cisco DPC3939 instead. Would this help? After the line noise work, the service technician said my drop is clean and so is my neighbor's which connects to the same pedestal. He said he was still detecting some noise on Comcast's side of the line and would pass the information along to the people who work on these lines. A 24 hour ping plotter run show the node closest to me experiencing high latency (> 2000 ms) and 100% packet loss maybe every 4-6 hours and only lasting for one 30 sec ping plotter sample. Current modem info and a speed test. are attached to this message as PNG screen captures. My Comcast location is Chesterfield, VA.
