Few years ago Comcast replaced the drop due to the same issue. There was no conduit ever installed when the original cable installation occurred. However, rather than run a new conduit (the junction box is across the street from me) they ran a new drop two houses down through an existing conduit and under the east side of my house through the crawl space to the west side of my house to connect. Lots of line! I wish they had just done construction 20 feet across the street. It did improve my signal enough to stop being dropped. Lately the issues are creeping back.
I am starting a new job and will be working from home where connectivity is going to be critical. I need to get this resolved. I am considering Comcast Business if they can solve the signal issues.
Below is a copy of signal issues on a decent day. When it rains, I run into problems. I have yet to capture those numbers.

I think my signal issues are *within* spec, but still borderline. Just looking for some feedback and I will start there as far as deciding to pursue the issue with Comcast.
