Hi, for the past 3 weeks or so my internet continually goes down between 8-9 A.M. every day and intermittently goes down throughout the entire day until about 2-3 P.M., after which is resumes normal operation for the entire evening and night. Between 8 A.M. - 3 P.M. these outages happen all day and normally last between 15-30 minutes, though some outages go as long as an hour and a half.
My drop was replaced about 5 months ago as were the splitters and cable leading to the modem, so I don't suspect that. When the tech was out here he mentioned that the headend signal here was within 3% of what Comcast considers normal and needed maintenance soon. I suspect the issue may be the headend or maybe another bad firmware update by Comcast (had one of their firmware updates make my previous modem all but useless in the past).
Of course Comcast wants to blame my modem (standard procedure for them) but I'm not convinced that's the problem.
Modem is a Motorola Surfboard 5120 with Software Version: SB5120-2.19.0.16-SCM00-NOSH.
