I just moved from a building not connected to the cable system back into a building that is, and reestablished service with Comcast (Berkeley, CA).
We have an SB6121 connected to an Apple Airport Extreme. The router is pulling a IPv6 WAN address and delegated prefix, and is distributing IPv6 addresses within the prefix to connected devices. Unfortunately, the IPv6 default route is link-local only (fe80:), which means zero IPv6 connectivity.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is this more likely to be a router/software bug, or a CMTS issue?
Note: two homes ago we lived in San Francisco in a building connected to Comcast, and we used the same modem and router and had full IPv6 connectivity.
